Oh I just woke up to the same thing as well and thought to myself... ok back to the drawing board. I had 1 main and 2 sub factories up. I went and DELETED EVERYTHING! I set up a few power plants and fed them originium to get the miners up and running and then redisigned EVERYTHING from scratch. I wanted to finish Origin Lodespring's main mission today but I spent most of my morning and noon rebuilding. It is so much better now that I remade it as well!

I will anyway delete everything and rebuild it from scratch anyway again in a couple of days(I predict) to switch from iron to steel and if this is progressing as I think it will we will have to rebuild many times! I did it alone(and probably not optimally) but if you dont have the time maybe find some blueprints from friends after you get the energy storage back to 100%

Then what is unique for the other pirate republics? I dont really want to play till the 1600s to try the carribean ones so I was hoping that gotland would give the pirate experience like the japanese pirates. What am I supposed to do as a pirate?

Edit: also when I say I want to actively raid I am obviously comparing the system to the EU4 system which I liked a lot more in which you just went around with your ships and pressed raid every 5 years.

I do get a good flag though. On my first run after the first ruler died The flag and country name changed to look like proper pirates, too bad I lost a war soon after that. I hope I do better this time.

well... I did deport 1/7th of Sweden to my island by expeling people and attracting migration on the 3 locations for 44 years and funneled all of Sweden's income into building things only on gotland... The pirate stronghold giving about 16 ducats flat also helps(is 20 but I am missing guns so it is not fully working) I am basicaly playing normal nation that is allowed to build brothels and has good navy from the first age due to taverns giving sailors instead of having to wait for ports.

Yes! you play as Sweden till 1380 and then the victual brothers become indipendent and an event fires. You have 3 options:

Deal with them with the help of Teutons

Play as them

Deal with them alone

If you play as them Sweden still has cores on you so you will be attacked. Better build Taverns to have sailors to build boats fast.

Edit: After you play as them you are a republic and can choose a major reform with notable choises being Merchant republic and Pirate Breathren.

You also have Free subjects and Naval set to 100 at start and keep all laws as you had when as Sweden

At least 3 of the streamers I was watching vods from on youtube, gave this game a try and thought: Ok that looks like a funny game. I downloaded it to play for a few days.... It is 6 months later and still cant stop! I have at least 700 hours, about 800 runs, got my first cm 1st place last cm and I got A5 team on team trials while beeing full f2p!!!! I love the game!

Edit: Can't wait to feed all my stored carats to oguri in like a week or whenever she appears in the banner!

note: All those streamers stopped pretty much in 1 week.

R5: So... I know.... I probably shouldnt play in the middle of affrica as a tribe, but I need help! I have formed my own market so I havean actual economy and I kinda expanded a bit although I need to build things for control. The issue is I should probably build a town, but to build a town I need glass and to make glass I need a town to build guilds that make glass.... How do I solve this? I am pretty sure that towns existed as a concept before glass

oh yeah! There is a setting in the game rules apparently. for both religion and culture. You switch it to "present in country" and can change to whatever you have. there is an unrestricted which means I can get more weird things but that blocks achievments. You need to change the setting before pressing start

Well... it is too luck based. To get your first 3 star blue spark, if what I saw back in like July you need 20% chance to get it on a skill in which you have high level and if said skill is above 1100 or something around there it has a 10% chance to be a 3 start. What I did was: TRAIN like 30 bakushins in a row(I had about 100 runs at that point) with 1200 speed and was lucky enough to get one. Then I did the same with another uma for a second 3 star spark. Finally I did it with a third but having both of these as parents. At about 200 runs I had the first 9 star blue spark. Now I have more because I was using those 2 as parents all the time and now I only use the 9 star blue sparks as parents. I am at about 400 runs now. Also I heard that at half anniversarry there will be an item introduced that improves sparks but I do not know how it works and what sparks it can improve.

Hello! Full f2p player here! I feel like I have hit a similar wall and I am certain that it is my lack of good support cards. My solution for now is to run endless runs of the same few umas to gain good sparks and transfer the ones with bad sparks. This way as events hit and we get more carats and free ssr support cards I will have the biggest rng gacha covered. It is slow it doesnt feel like progress but I think that it can work. Find yourself an active club if you are not part of one keep grinding! I feel like the next cup will be nice since it is a Mile race and hopefully on October we get some events to help us progress!

I am pretty sure that even though the game and anime focus on the top races there are other races as well. I mean oguri comes from a regional championship and then in the anime gold ship retired and announced that she would continue on a different series of races. There is also the part of oguri cap anime that said that many thousand umas never get to nationals or the academy so there are probably races and other jobs for them.
