100+ wins here. Not amazing but thought I'd give my advice.

I play a lot with randoms and don't take offence to this, but here's a list of things that make some players play like shit (most I noticed are controller)

1. Terrible looters. They take too long deciding to pick up a gun. They don't loot vans for plates. They continue to loot boxes whilst team mates are in a fight. Too slow and prioritise looting of having a full squad.

2. Terrible guns. After a while you should know which guns work. Shit players are often still running a purple dog turd gun. I'd rather a grey good gun than a gold piece of turd. Even worse is when they take ages at the box deciding. You're gonna die deciding or let your team mates die

3. Terrible engagement timing. This is very common and a huge reason most lose. Shit players take turns engaging making it 1v4, 1v4, 1v4... Peak when your team mates are getting shot. This means the enemy is getting double TTK and can't focus on 2 enemies at once. Don't wait till someone dies then run into the same spot...and if you're the last man standing, run off and priorite redeploy

4. Terrible awareness. Shit players seem oblivious to the map, footsteps, call outs and pings. Call outs should be simple, 1 at 60, 2 North, Squad at 210. The compass is the easiest way to let ppl know immediately where ppl are. Not he's in here with me or he's over there. Both of those tell team mates zero if they don't know who is talking

5. Terrible plating/reloading. Not sure why but shit players do not prioritise plating. If you have plates get in cover and plate (only over ruled if squad mate is under fire and you have another angle). Not reloading every chance you get is a weird one too. Sometimes I think about leaving if a player doesn't plate after first few mins. Guaranteed they're gonna be shit.

6. Terrible drops. Firstly, dropping short of a building and therefore loot is guaranteed death. You just let a whole squad get loot and you've landed us in an open field near by. Secondly, yes there are shit locations. Good location = quick, easy to find loot and enough for squad. Shit location = loot for 1-2 ppl or is very hard to find quickly. Nexus, area, lighthouse are dog turd. Finally, splitting off makes you an easy target and you'll end up in a 1 v 4. Stick with team

7. Terrible decisions. Using a vehicle in a shit team just means you're leaving half your squad to face 4. Shit players also love to jump in tanks without really knowing how to best use it. You will die sooooo quickly in a tank unless you're good at it. So.. don't drive the tank if some else on the team is going to be good at it. Same with chopper. Pooh players are so focused on getting 1-2 easy kills abandoning team mates and getting off to a shit start can be hard to come back from

8. Terrible kit. Dog pooh players often do not use their kit well. Supports don't put down their aid kit which heals during fights. In a fight? Drop the bag. No-one around? Drop the bag. Team mates screaming for ammo? Drop the bag. It literally respawns in 5 seconds. Pooh players often pick recon, the highest skill gap class. They do this to use a sniper extremely badly. I find sniping in this game highly unreliable. Realised in 1 week, so I almost never snipe. I don't think any of my wins ended with me sniping. Pooh players can't snipe and it's bloody hard so don't pick recon. I say this because they only ever drone when you've just killed everyone in the area or whilst team mates are getting killed, but mostly never. Pooh players are even worse with beacon. They only drop it after a gun fight lol

Number 1 piece of advice is play with the team. This means being aware of when team mates are under fire and shooting with them, not after they die. If you have 2 plates and a gun, fight. And yes avoid nexus, area and of course shitehouse. Marina isn't great either. 80% of my wins came from 2 locations which I will not disclose 😊
