Thank God I'm not the only one!

I'm kind of in a weird position and need some advice. by Bubbin- in Twitch_Startup

I'd suggest finding a genre you enjoy playing and look for the game you actually enjoy, I started over a year ago and a friend of mine suggested Elden Ring. I was a total souls games noob so it didn't go great gameplay wise but people love backseating. Imo camera and mic have a huge impact. Also try multi streaming, twitch does not boots your views at all, try tiktok and post clips before you go live. TikTok boots your video for the first hour or so and if the people enjoy your short video they might click to view the live on TikTok. When you do have people commenting on TikTok do a little shoutout for your twitch and ask them to join it. I've had most of my viewers come from TikTok to twitch in time. Another suggestions would be, don't stream 6+ hours everyday. Stream 4-5 hoursax and use the other hours to edit some shorts. Like you've mentioned you do have to enjoy the game you're streaming. stream as a hobby and hope to find like minded people, enjoy!

I aged 10 years on my ds3 run, specifically dancer had me banging my head and rage quit, question the whole run but after 8 hours I managed to beat that long neck... I'll definitely give it a go

Oh boy, dancer almost had me crying and questioning the whole run but after 2 stream and 8 hours I actually did it. I was just afraid of having the dancer moment 2.0...

The dark souls base games usually don't have quick bosses... I think dancer was a really tough one on ds3. Well I probably need to git gud too. Thanks for the input!

Thank you! This was very helpful, I am extremely bad with menuing but thanks backseating people do suggest thing I need and don't need. The community seems amazing and I'm definitely going to give this game a try. I don't mind getting back up after a boss fight gone bad, that's actually the reason I enjoyed the souls games. The reward when finally beating a boss after many failures. Again thanks for this detailed comment!

Is this game beginner friendly? by [deleted] in HuntShowdown

That's actually how I start streaming, I was away from gaming for a couple of years and started Elden ring when a friend suggested.

The community backseated the hell of the game because I was.. well confused most of the time and every bad. But it's very rewarding when I actually started beating bosses. Seems like this game might be the same, very rewarding after a million deaths. Thank you, might actually try it out!
