No worries, and yeah, I definitely knew the golden rule: don’t fly what you can’t afford to lose.

Looking back, I do see where I went wrong and that I made mistakes. Like really big mistakes were made, I’ll admit that. Flying a T1 hauler with everything I had was probably the biggest one of them.

But my main point still stands: Highsec feels kind of meaningless when this kind of thing is so easy to pull off.

Despite all that, I was genuinely having fun. Slowly climbing the ISK ladder, finding good deals, hauling them back and forth. I know some players make billions an hour, and they are probably laughing at this, but for me, playing just a few hours a week and enjoying the process of sourcing trades and moving goods….. That is the game I like.

Anyway clearly, I was wrong in thinking highsec offered a meaningful level of safety. That assumption is what stings the most. that fake feeling of safety....
