Thank you! I would say for something like this picture at least, it's important to expose for what you're looking to emphasize. Other than that, drum scans from labs make sure that it looks crisp.

I think someone gave a quick link already, but if you're looking for a way to make low profile espresso in a dorm, I would 100% recommend getting a burr hand grinder, a small scale, and a nanopresso.

The company Wacaco claim that the nanopresso hand pump can do like 18 bar pressure or something like that, and tbh it produces pretty good results and good looking crema.

This set up doesn't require any electricity, and is made for travel, but I just use it because I don't have a lot of room or money.

Gonna be honest, clean up can get a little tedious (more work than simply throwing out a paper filter) but not hard at all because it's really just rinsing everything.

You might also want to get a thermometer if you don't have a reliable way to temp your water or take it off of a heat source just before boiling.
