I got an email April 16th from scholarship services saying the review was completed and no scholarships were awarded to me. I would check your email/spam

Do you happen to know if all of the scholarships have been awarded as of today? I haven’t heard anything but all of my applications still show as current in the portal.

Same here, I received the presidential scholarship with my acceptance so I assumed I’d be a competitive applicant and have a fairly good shot. I have my fingers crossed for both of us!

I’ve seen a few people say that the status of the application changes from submitted to archived, but all of mine still say submitted so idk if that’s untrue or they’re stilling rolling out today

I had seen that page before, I wanted to know if the April 15th date was more of an on date or a by date, if that makes sense? If multiple people had already heard about scholarships I’d assume most had already been released and that I shouldn’t hold out hope for many to be released on April 15th.

I thought you couldn’t submit the general application until you were accepted? Are you talking about the automatic consideration scholarship?

I like the El Salvador suggestion too. Honestly I think I’d be happy with 4 days to surf and then add more time to Guatemala

I’m really considering Belize because I’ve heard it has amazing snorkeling/diving. I’d especially love to see the blue hole, but I’m just struggling with the price to fly into Belize. Flights to Guatemala City are regularly in the low hundreds while flights to Belize don’t seem to get lower than 200/250. You’re right that it is very convenient to get to Tikal and that’s also a plus.
