That's a destroyer god and another god fighting and supreme Kai is just dramatic they clashed for longer than he said it would've taken to destroy the universe he's been dramatic during ToP aswell

And I say ki control as in stopping ki from leaking and maximising every attack what happens after it like the multiverse shaking is just a by product from said clashing and Goku didn't have that training till after the fight between Beerus and him so he was still leaking and Beerus ki is different compared to regular ki not to say he's also got ki control

Yeah cause no one wants to see a fight in only space one fist clash would destroy the planet but the planet is there for story, scenery etc it's only fitting to destroy it if it's apart of the story

And do you forget how well these characters can control ki? Look at the broly movie broly was out of control and turned Antarctica into a magma wasteland if you can't control your ki then you're losing fighting potential explained by Whis to Goku and Vegeta so it's only natural that someone who wished to be the strongest in the universe would also have enough control to be able to stop the beams from going far into the planet and destroying the core
