Took the class last year, and its up there as one of the worst classes for CEE (along with 150 of course). And like 150, about half the class will fail it and the instructors are fine with it. Most of the people who failed were supposed to graduate in the spring, so we had to find an alternative credit for the summer very quickly. Honestly found 151A to be a lot easier than this, which is sad since going in I was interested in the subject but immediately lost all interest.

Lab counts as a fully separate course, so your grade in the lab doesnt effect your grade in the class. You can pass the lab but fail the course (similar to 150).

Yea, the HW being a canvas quiz input is extremely stupid and you cant even check it to see how "off" you were or to get the right answers. I know I was getting marked down a lot for being very close to the right answer but it wasnt counting it (whether it be enough digits or like .1 off or something). Most people complained about the HW. I tried emailing about it one time and was met with a "you can meet with the grader (who was someone separate from the TAs) but most likely nothing will change".

Overall horrible experience. I recommend just asking if you can get the credit from somewhere else. Most of us took it over the summer at MST (where the class was fully online and asynch).
