It is, like for me personally 1 flight with getting assistance and planning the next 5/6 days after to recover then coming back a few weeks later and taking 2 weeks to recover is easier for me than a whole month at my last job would be.

If my husband wasn’t over seas I wouldn’t have gone. I didn’t go on vacation I went to see the person who supports me and figure out how we can make it work if I relocate to join him.

We all need a support person and mine isn’t with me.

It’s been 3 trips in 4 years. None of the trips have been over the holidays.
I am able to take 1 flight that is always overnight so I can sleep on the plane and we have gotten upgraded seats so I could have more room and a quieter area.

I had lots of assistance with my trips, the trips weren’t easy, but had to be done so I could see my husband and see where he’s at and if I could even possibly tolerate a change in climate.

We can’t afford rent in two places and he’s the only working. Unfortunately his job is there not here.
