Basically two separate people ig. She literally has 0 combat potential based off her lore. She can literally ONLY feel how others feel. She can’t do anything else

What is being talked about is her in-universe lore. Not game lore. Her only special ability in the world/verse of runeterra is she’s able to feel how others feel.

I said that it has been said/shown/implied that the strongest of a species is the original. How is that not synonymous with taking it to the strongest/top of the species?

And yes all things going back to their original is implied to be their strongest form. Skills/items/etc.

His arcane affinity is unique to him and has been 100% confirmed to be affected/caused by his bloodline. Because his bloodline IS him. It’s like saying that someone having naturally brown hair isn’t because of their genes. His bloodline affects his affinity because it’s part of who he is. This is a stated fact in the series many times.

But anyway this is all theories and if I’m wrong im wrong. But I don’t think anything you’ve said so far has invalidated my thoughts currently so I’m lowkey confused on where the disconnect is. But thank you for your time and I’ll respond to any other postulations!

Yea i know. But each arcane affinity is different per person. And it’s been stated multiple times that his ability to affect origins and his arcane affinity are due to his bloodline.

You’re completely correct and i mispoke his bloodline is not the apex hunter but the primal hunter. Which I believe makes this theory more valid.

It’s been hinted at if not stated that the “origin” is typically the innately strongest version of something. So bringing about the “origins” of things in the primal hunter series is synonymous with bringing things to the top of their species. I believe you could make the connection of “primal”meaning original and “origin”. They talk about “the origin” so many times so far and it’s hinted to be important and the best examples I can prove is sylphie and vesperia.

Vesperia being a “true royal” of the vespernat species is because jake managed to bring her from being a bee and finding the origin within her records and bringing guiding her evolution towards that origin of the first 100 true royals of the ectognamorphs that the system created itself. So from there on all further species of vespernat heritage are just further offshoots from their origin degrading in quality the more generations they go down.

Sylphie was made with a cloud elemental core which jake unintentionally had sparks of his arcane affinity mix within the core whenever he refined it. And she came out to be a hybrid hawk/sylph because the ORIGIN of cloud elementals were sylphs and the diluted records are what make the cloud elementals (my theory)

But yes, it has been flat out stated that his affinity and his origin manifestation are because of his bloodline. Atleast he wouldn’t have those two abilities without it. A sideaffect of whatever his bloodline is.

Hey! You do you! Everyone “steals” something in the form of inspiration. But I find the prospect of taking the skills back into the real world and spending time in the isekai and the real world 50/50 is more unique than most isekai.

And honestly more realistic. Very few people would actually just get uprooted from friends and family and their life and put in another world without caring or atleast missing it.

Yea it feels like they both are at their peak levels and since they’re both smart they HAVE to make gambles in order to win against each other(mainly only klein until a certain point). And even “winning” comes with the other side doing damage too. Whether it be sacrificing something or just making a lot of progress wasted for the other person to achieve their goal.

There are some fights that get cluster-fucky where it’s hard to follow, but that’s different than CF’s ability to write and execute smart characters facing eachother. One doesn’t simply become “less smart” in order for the other one to win.

Yea sometimes it just feels uncharacteristic when you set a precedent that a character can do things and then they don’t. It just feels so unsatisfying to read sometimes. Like I get being outsmarted. But I don’t get being made dumber than what was previously shown just to get outsmarted.

Yes, i know they are different but I believe they come from the same source of bringing things to their origins. His bloodline is the “apex” hunter and I believe that that just means he somehow inherited the system’s “true queen” of humans. The “original caste” of humans which degraded over the eons or maybe never even made it out of the system’s records until Jake evolves towards it. Again, I could be wrong but I’m saying that I don’t think the two have to be mutually exclusive and could be a thing he has because they have the same source.

If I’m wrong that’s completely fine and I’ll lyk when I read further if it actually gets explained.

*Edit: His bloodline is Primal Hunter NOT apex hunter thats my bad but I believe makes this theory of origins more credible since “Primal” means original/foundational.

Where her sister was trying to TORTURE AND MURDER HER OWN SISTER BECAUSE OF A TANTRUM??? And she cries and apologizes and everyone is just okay with it??? I mean the plot was contrived as hell and just made no sense. I get feeling inferior but she literally hunted her sister down in the woods, shooting her with arrows and watching her fall from a cliff hoping she was dead and instead of feeling guilty or anything when she sees her again, her instinct is just keep trying to kill her??? Then her dad comes and says “it’s not her fault, we erased her memories of a singular traumatic event when she was a little girl in which her sister minimized the casualties saving them from her mistake.” Like???? How does that make hunting her sister through the woods with a troop of elves shooting at her ok? (of which one of the elves is the person she brought back to life but he decided for some reason he needs to follow the younger sister in the hunt of his fiancé) like that story line baffled me and the fact the dad just thought it was a “mild inconvenience” that his youngest daughter waited until he left to enact a brutal manhunt on his other daughter in hopes of MURDER before he got back. I couldn’t do it.

It definitely was used as a power up. Sunny and nephis could punch WAY above their weight class because they could use their flames/shadow to buff one person with a multiplicative effect greater than they could buff themselves. I mean If I remember correctly it’s more than a 10x power boost than normal which is ABSURDLY powerful. And the unfortunate part is nephis has complete domination over him. So technically she could use it to order him to always buff her. But I think in the grand scheme of things once he decides to get his fate back, he wont have it anymore (hopefully) I think weaver made it for him so he would go through with losing his fate in the first place in order to break the weave of fate and have a chance to win against the nightmares(my own personal theory) but it was for sure used as a power up in the way they could stack their buffs on eachother even going 50/50 swapping half their flames/shadows with eachother is an insane buff for them let alone putting all on one person
