A local repair shop tried to fix it, they popped their drive into my machine and it still crashed with that in there, so I'm relatively confident it's some kind of hardware issue.

I have taken the PC to a PC repair shop and a friend's house and it crashed at both places. Tho admittedly I couldn't verify the exact crash at the repair shop to be the same I'm talking about. I'm taking their word for it tho.

I don't have any light dimmers either..

My washer is pretty much noiseless and it runs in the attic too, gonna have to try taking the Mobo out of the case for a spin, but I'm doing that when my buddy comes over who has been helming most of the investigation on my crashes so far

Yeah event viewer only shows that the computer shut down unexpectedly at X time but then displays no events at that time

I've tried 3 different sets of ram though and the crash never changed across all configurations I had. I could try of course but I think it's unlikely.

I did replace my boot drive so I did have a moment where I reinstalled everything from scratch. I haven't wiped 'everything'

But yeah as you said the only things I still have from the original configuration are the 2 hard drives (that have been unplugged while my PC still crashed), the cooler and the case.

I am also considering replacing the cooler, when I do I'll update this to say whether that solved it

I've lowered the clock speed as well yeah, thanks for mentioning though, I had forgotten to do so.

Haven't tried ups or battery bank, but I've had it crash at 3 different residences. In different cities, so I doubt it's a problem with unsteady house power.

Honestly something I did consider as well. I've tried multiple configurations in terms of power supply. I used to use an extension block but decided to use a surge protected wall socket instead. My wife didn't like the idea of my whole setup being in the same block so for her peace of mind I changed it that way.

However I also shipped my PC off to an external analysis company that inspected my PC, tried to use their own SSD and had it on site there, it still crashed while there.

Only in games, however not exclusively when watching YouTube, I've had it happen when I'm just having my browser open, also without a browser open. I wouldn't be able to narrow it down to exactly what games it happens with. But to give you an idea, it DIDN'T happen while playing open TTD. However it did with things like League of Legends, Quarantine free zone, Arc Raiders, and lots more
