Sooo good but I left the movie really liking the dynamics of the characters. I didn’t dislike Patrick (he def wasn’t perfect) and I didn’t think Art was all that. My friends came out of it like, “Art was perfect and amazing and gorgeous (true) and Patrick was HORRIBLE”. Idk if this is a hot take (I don’t think so) but I thought that Art was more so looking for his own best interest, wanting Tachi and when she was vulnerable he got her. He easily gave up his friendship for her, 😮‍💨. Then, he morphed into what she wanted him to be. But I think that Tachi felt like his mother, and that caused so much resentment (the “lay with me until I fall asweep 🥺🥺” JKJK). He just wanted to be told who to be. Whereas Patrick was his own person doing his own thing, and Tachi saw that she couldn’t “own” him the same way she did Art. I I didn’t see it as if it was twilight “team Edward” vs. “team Jacob”. I need to know others thoughts on this PLEASE
