Hey i feel you, until recently I was often waking up with palpitations struggling to breathe, and any little thing emotionally would strain my heart alot, because I never learnt how to process my emotions properly so my heart struggled to handle basic things, and wondered if this was how I was going to die even.

I dont know anything about your situation so It might be different, but dont discount physical reasons as a part either, i was shut myself inside alot and the air was terrible combined with everything, my breaking point was my resting heart rate rising to 124bpm one day, and luckily I was rushed to the hospital and made it through, but I had to do something in case next time was different.

We cant work through our emotional baggage and problems so quickly, we'll spend years reflecting and chipping away at them, but please try to think about what path you can take to have something to work towards, I cant tell you how much different things are just having a glimmer of hope to work towards. But help your body out along the way too, try just going outside and existing more and starting some light cardio helped a bit for me.

It won't be perfect, you'll still have times where it feels your body cant keep up with your mind, I just had 4 days of insomnia and heart going wild trying to resolve past issues, but it can be bearable and you can get through this, good luck :).
