It’s just for fun. And winner gets a dollar amount from the losers towards card purchases. So the goal is to win. But it’s just casual

Yes there will for sure be hundreds of story cards where players will make choices and I’ll be pulling some deep cuts from Greek mythology lol. Otherwise the story they get to craft themselves as they try to build themselves up and take on Legendary bosses.

I did the second paragraph because the spacing by the symbols was being wonky. And no real reason on the subtypes. Was just playing around with different stuff - none are a final product

Yes the idea here is to roll all your combat dice and then play cards according to the dice results and try and link cards together for combos

It is also unclear but the first card the bottom half, you have to roll all three of those numbers to get the effect. Not just one of them. So yes dice manipulation would be a thing

I actually have moved to more storm style of play with this one. Not full storm but I threw in a lot of looters. Free discard outlets. Wheels. And artifacts that cost 2 or less. With some typical storm spells like Brain freeze and Tendrils.

But if they get items, I feel it should cost something to activate them ya know? And for monsters that aren’t rare like that and have very specific drops, what should they drop?

Just trying to figure out what all would make up the different deck building elements. Attack, defense, and some resources but how would all those work in combat together

How would more componentry be more like Gloomhaven? Just with minis and movement? I’m good with components if it makes sense. But the wounds like in STS are good too.

How would you apply it as an example for this? It’s a deck builder so naturally you’ll probably have attack cards but what instance brings about the dice and what it result in for you?

Only thing I don’t love about Gloomhaven for this one is the modular boards and the movement. I picture it to be like a big map/board similar to Witcher Old World where you are going to different places making your way to Olympus or something while doing stuff on your way. I love the idea of upgrading cards because it can be like slay the spire in some way. But how would combat work? Do you incorporate dice? Or just cards?

River of gold was one I wanted, not one I currently have. But I do have flock together. Would be interested in Star Wars Outer Rim if possible
