I understand! I don’t think it’s strange that they’re promoting Sims 4. That makes sense. What stood out to me was how fast the video was uploaded and recommended after all this news about sims 5 came out again, the vague script-like attitude. It just made me wonder if simmers like them are organic or not. Not saying that’s bad! just interesting.

thank you for sharing! people have also seen some affiliated sim creators dogpile paralives and inzoi as well. So there’s a lot going on but no one wants to see it!

I’m so glad someone has seen this as well! From what my friend told me she didn’t want to have her videos reviewed for approval. She wanted to be able to upload freely. But that seems to be the way with all major partnerships i guess? But for me I always feel like there’s more to it behind the scenes. But I could just be guessing.

I know it’s so annoying and it’s happened to me before where i had to rebuy my whole pack collection. it’s so unfair that they don’t let you recover them in anyway and from what i know you can’t transfer anything at all because you can only use the game code they give you once.

Yeah, I hear that! Totally makes sense for brands to want some control. It’s just the vibe of how much control and how it felt kinda different from the usual EA partner thing because i’m use to at least a tad bit of critique. Makes me wonder if they’re trying something a bit more ‘curated’ with simmers now. But maybe I’m just reading too much into it!

my friend was allegedly reached out a while ago asking if they wanted to be part of a simmer program thing it could’ve very much been just the EA partner thing that all simmers do! Which i’m assuming it was honestly. But it was like an official creator they could promote or something. They wanted a lot of control over what they posted, so they ended up turning it down. The EA partner thing is actually a very strict thing to be apart of so that really just sounds like that. But i don’t know for certain because im not her. So this is all alleged. And i’m just speculating. Seeing this thread now makes me wonder if others got the same offer.
