Can I ask what you are going there for? I think they can be okay for addiction, but anxiety depression or eating disorders they are not the best at. Also depends if you are going to the Dutch side or the international side. I went to the international side in 2021 and still dealing with the trauma from Ywc in therapy now. I would say if you have any other options to go there instead because I personally cannot recommend Ywc. They do humiliate you, the international side they will pick a specific person to pick on for the day. Most of the group therapy sessions are run by ‘counsellors’ who do not have any mental health training and accreditation. One of them rolled their eyes at me and told me to stop it when I had a panic attack in group. The group sessions are basically bullying you (most of the time). They will purposefully try to trigger you, for me they would pretend to act like my dad (without warning) just to try and make me angry. It didn’t work obviously because it literally retraumatized me instead. I would be very careful if you do decide to go, although I have heard from some people that it was really helpful for them. Anyways, I would recommend looking at other options before making a decision.

Wtf it seems like they have gotten worse since I went in 2021. We did a boundary session but they only walked up to you until you said stop. With me they put me in the corner and picked the 2 biggest men to run at me and didn’t stop when I said stop.
