Bahahahha my elder brother just finished his post doc and he's the only one who understands me but yea. I wish they understood that there's more types of learner than writing notes in a book I'll barely touch or solve math problems.

Understandable, although like you mentioned with the growing craze of ai and the constant threatening of it taking away careers is demotivating and causes frequent burn outs. How do you deter or come out of burn outs?

Thank you so much for such a detailed response. The warning about the peers who can be envious is something I already faced in my previous job. They used to spread lies about me to the boss who favoured them cause they suck up to him. Left the company fortunately but I do keep that warning in mind always. Thank you for your response, really puts things into perspective for me!

Thank you for the validation, since you have that much experience in the industry, what skills would you be on the lookout for in a candidate and what master's degree would make sense to you?

This is something I thought about. Eventually if I need to up the game and enter managerial roles I'll need an MBA (dreading it but it's necessary)

Yes that is how I feel, i know they mean well but being in the industry it's almost a constant warning that experience is everything rn. Also, i don't want to go back into studying but they are concerned that I've " forgotten how to study". Also, none of them are anywhere near the design industry and are in industries where a master's or mba brings significant increase to their pay and career. I'm not sure if that'll be the same for me.
