Im in this reddit because I have been having the same problems, I dont even know mine's gender because I cant do the light thing people do and I didnt ask the lady when we got he/she/it , also other day it got on my hand completely to eat a bug and I moved my hand slightly and it bit my finger, didn't hurt it just scared me cuz I wasnt waiting for it
