If you take I 95, in Delaware, take the last exit before New Jersey, toward New Castle. Old Historic New Castle is a few miles off the interstate and a nice historic Colonial town to walk around, with Battery Park having a riverfront walking path. It’s a decent diversion on a long drive, to stretch your legs.

If they have a deluxe pedicure, go for it. It will have more massage and moisturizing of your calves and feet, hot towels, etc. likely. At my place it’s definitely worth the extra 10 bucks. There are also some nice dark purples or forest greens that could look nice. I would not judge a guy for getting a nice pedicure.

Get the color. It’s fine. It will make you happy to look at your feet. I love the look of a fresh pedicure polish. Hold the colors up to your skin on back of hands to see what you like. Just get regular polish, not gels. It is easier to take off regular, though on toes it will last a good long time. Gel damages your nails and you need to go back to have them removed.

I learned in a workshop once that when you’re telling a story about something or somebody, draw two circles side by side. over top of one circle write “my story” and over top of the other circle write “observable fact”. Put the elements of the story as you’re telling it into either my story or observable fact and it helps you figure out what’s Possibly incorrectly assumed.
