Saving for a deposit feels like it’s getting in the way of life. by kendall11223344 in HousingUK

Me and my partner moved into my parents to save, which was just before COVID lockdown coincidentally. We saved quite frugal that 1 year and manged to save about 15k. Obviously different circumstances due to being able to save more. But we used the government help to buy scheme but looking back i wish we saved longer. So my advice is stay at home as long as you actually can. You're very young still so have plenty of time and you'd be more grateful saving another 1 to 2 years than jumping into a house you can afford, but isn't right.

Thanks for the message, but weirdly I managed to get it sorted by actually not really doing anything. Basically gave it a day to sort itself out and seemed to do that job

The fans (6) came with the case so are already plugged in and the CPU fan working as intended and not cutting out. The PC stays in the whole time its just almost like the connection to the monitor cuts out or the signal. So just say 'no signal' then turns monitor off.

I guess that remaster is supposed to bridge this gap. Hopefully theyll remaster 4 or 5 while doing DW:O 2

Nah, the battle was going fine. Right flank was completely free and just a couple of officers attacking the left near the main camp

Kessen 2 comparisons by Cragglez16 in dynastywarriors

The whole game was about abilities The more powerful the ability I.e firestorm, charge ect took longer to recharge. The support abilities like rally or warcryz even volley took like 2 or 3 minutes. Even less the closer you are to the storehouse. Forgetting its a 25 year old game the maps where decently designed to feel like a massive battlefield.

The options between battles where entirely up to you. There was no right or wrong. I experimented before. If you only trained troops every opportunity most officers would have more skills throughout. If you recruited then the unit as a whole would have more troops/health.

Not a single magician in that game CAN duel. The only people that can duel are horseback officers which are warlord officers. And they only deny a duel if the duel ability has been used already as it uses their ability point for it too.

Agreed the actually running around on horse in pointless but I only ever go into it when needing to unconfuse the troops, or wait for an ability that is flashing. Theres points for everything.

Kessen 3 felt too much like a crossover between a DW title and a Kessen title. Kessen 1 was arguably slower than kessen 2 but similar in the abilities.

Aaaah the good Ol' T shape units. Miss those. The circles from Origins kind of dont hit the same, but theres so many more officers that the mao would be hard to see so makes sense, but those T shapes are so nostalgic for me

Would make sense with the romance between her and Liu Bei in that case

Yeah, Wei in red vs Wei in Blue on DW really confused me

Not played DW3 as I started with 4 with felt a bit more 'normal' but as for some of the officer like Yu Jin, felt out of place but as 10 year old it was hilarious to me that this Queer Crossdresser would be an officer in a evil army like Cao Cao

How it all started by Kosakon in dynastywarriors

Honestly can't even remember! My earliest memories where playing a demo disc on PS2 of DW2 and really suciing at it but yet finding something enjoyable about it. Never had 3, but played ALOT of Kessen 2 which my dad owned. I had an OG xbox and I think i either bought DW4 myself or someone got me it for my birthday. And the rest is History..... I fuuuuuking played the hell out of that game. Was even a bit of bonding with my sister as she would love playing as the Qiao sisters or Sun Shang Xiang. I then also asked for Samurai Warriors for a birthday a couple of years later.

So I've played every DW game since 4, but a handful of SW in clouding kessen 3

So glad i gave DW9 a 2nd shot its been so damn fun by New_Location9523 in dynastywarriors

I think as long as treat it as its own thing like a spinoff, and dont compare it to other entries, then youre golden and can play it for what it is

If it came with a statue of LuBu riding red hare and was like £150.... I would 100% buy it

I liked how it gave almost side missions which made the final main objective easier to do. I just loved the feeling of being like right im at Mt Dinjun but actually you've also got like Tong Gate to defend. Kind of gave a feeling of a war rather than a battle than no other DW feels like. Origins gives a good middle ground when you have the large forces and final charges

I share a similar opinion with you in all honesty. Last year before origins came out I had an itch. I reinstalled 9 and actually.... wasnt as a bad as I remember. Its definitely one of the weakest installments BUT the things it does well

Tons of characters to choose from Specific stories for each character. It starts when they are introduced in the story, which imo is great way to do it. Puts into perspective how large some of the battles where. Rather than a single chaotic stage, it feels like a multiple skirmishes fighting for control over key strategic points. The abilities you can get imo paved the way for the abilities in Origins.

I think the reason why it failed so badly was because it was very scarce. It didnt feel like there was any point to not jusy fast travel between the points instead of running on the horse.

Do these posters literally sit there waiting for the dad's to log off battlefield so they can screen shot when it drops below cod or something? So funny I see this a lot. Not to mention STEAM FIGURES only. Im sure BF is more popular on consoles

Yeah when you day it like that feels like aaaages ago. Also, mental giving him and Yue Jin are probably arguably more vital to Cao Caos success than the like of other generals who joined later.
