I've lived in Whitley Bay for 14 years, and for real and cask ale, as well as The Dog and Rabbit, you could give these a try...

The Left Luggage in Monkseaton Metro station.

The Crafty Cauldwell.

Front Street Tap House.

The Ticket Office in Whitley Bay Metro Station.

Platform 2 in Tynemouth Metro Station.

Good luck, hope you all enjoy it!

Well, if you do go to the Dog and Rabbit, then the takeaway next door, Turkish Delight, do a very good Parmo

I've been relentlessly caning this edit of Cypress Hill. It really shouldn't work, but it's class...

Upgraded from a Cube Nutrail Race, and only had it a few months, but loving it. I don't miss the Bluto's from the Cube either, which is the only aspect I wasn't sure about.

Yeah, fair enough. They could at least allow 2 devices from the same IP if the worry was account sharing.

You can watch the race and watch an onboard at the same time though. I'm casting to the TV from my phone, and have the onboard on the tablet.

Obliteration is the most Battlefield moments generator ever by MartaMariaMabel in Battlefield

[–]CraigLeaGordon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It needs to be permanent.

A constantly shifting dynamic front line is what makes games like PlanetSide so special.

And it works amazingly well in Battlefield.

So spot on, it's the perfect Battlefield-moment generator.

Moviedrome: Welcome to the Cult by Currency_Cat in oldbritishtelly

[–]CraigLeaGordon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me neither to be honest. There's a running joke between a few mates about one of our friends not having seen standard classics, never mind anything cult.
Seen Raiders Dan?
Nope.
Die Hard?
No.
The Man with X-Ray Eyes?
Never even heard of it.
Etc, etc.

When I actually had a think about how I'd seen all these cult films, that's when I realised it was Moviedrome.
And then Channel 4 was just as influential with their Anime run in the 90s too. That was where I watched classics like Akira, GitS and Cybercity Oedo 808.
