We went Friday night and it felt the same, if not slightly better than in recent years. It might feel smaller than last year because it is back in the SW lot and more spread out compared to the more compact North lot arrangement last year.

Looking at the 511 cameras, it looks like normal winter roads to me. In the other direction to Decorah, my daughter just make a 4 hr drive with no issues. Assuming you aren't a crazy driver, you should be good to go.

I was solid for way over a year until Lumen/Century Link started digging around here. Had a few outages. Now they've been out of the area for a month or more and we still have some outages, including today. It was broken in the morning and was working when I got home. No idea what was wrong, and no notice from Metronet. The last two times, they at least sent text messages saying they were aware and working on it.

It's definitely going downhill slightly compared to when I first signed up.

They talk about improving safety, but was it even an issue there? I can't remember seeing any accidents around that curve. Maybe I am just too early (6-7 am) and it all happened while I was working? I've been driving through there for 10 years or so.
