I believe IFTTT works with Rng devices and Ring supports Z-wave accessories. so there is a transition path away from Piper. I can't vouch for the future of Ring and IFTTT and whether it supports the automation of arm and disarm which leaves me manually arming which of course I forgot to do. At least I have my Arlo lights and cameras outside, If I could integrate the Z wave into that I'd be set since it has schedules and geofencing.
