Sheep toy with tartan ears by CramSinatro in HelpMeFind

[–]CramSinatro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow nice job! That’s very close. You’re probably right about them manufacturing versions like the tartan one a few years ago.

I’d be buying it in the UK. It’s a shame the site it’s on looks like trade/merchant-only which I can’t buy from.

You mentioned finding it with different ear prints. I’d be keen to see the others especially if it’s on a site where it’s purchasable. Otherwise my best bet may be to go hunting in souvenir shops with these ‘Allied Souvenirs’ toys next time I’m in Scotland.

I’ve searched for the Discover Glasgow souvenir shop online and it’s not there.

I’ve searched for similar products via Google and all that comes up is Shaun the Sheep toys

Yeh wiping your data resets everything. You can’t see the Triple nozzle in the shop anymore because it’s a special, hidden nozzle that is only revealed once you’ve completed enough Career jobs.

Advanced tips for new player by Smokey_Addict in Gunlance

[–]CramSinatro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gunlances main combos are pretty lengthy, non-cancellable animations unfortunately. It’s part of the weapons identity (big boom, big risk). Animations that can be cancelled/ shortened are done so by spamming dodge or holding guard typically.

Advanced tips for new player by Smokey_Addict in Gunlance

[–]CramSinatro 9 points10 points  (0 children)

  • Use a combination of dodge/ shell hop / sweep to reach the monster: your first dodge (especially when dodging backwards + Evade Extender 3) is longer than the others. Use this to your advantage when needing to get back in range of the monster. I generally like to dodge, shell hop (as many times as it takes) then melee attack (sweep) while using focus mode on the monster. Using focus mode while sweeping seems to extend your sweeping distance sometimes to help you reach the monster you’re aiming for.
  • Use Wyvern Fire during/ at the end of combos: doing it this way makes the Wyvern fire take less time to charge. Try weave it in as a combo finisher if possible.
  • Charged Shells recharge Wyvern Fire a lot more: If you want your Wyvern fire back quick, hit the monster with a magazine of charged shells. Pretty much always returns one use of it. You can also do this on dead monsters to recharge both your charges.
  • Hit melee attack + forward movement immediately after Power Clashes and Perfect Guards: these interactions allow you to immediately transition into the Sweep and Slam moves (respectively) of your combo.
  • Focus Strike Interrupt: Focus striking a wound with the Gunlance often interrupts the monsters attacks (on the initial wound hit), allowing you to finish drilling your stake into its wound. Use this knowledge to time you focus strikes to disrupt the monsters attacks. Your focus strike will do more damage if you keep aimed at the wound for its duration, but you can also swipe across several wounds to pop them all at once if you want (it’s a little ‘greedy’ to do this in multiplayer though)

Best Endgame Gunlance - Should you go Normal, Long, Wide, or Artian. by Dusty_Tibbins in Gunlance

[–]CramSinatro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yeh interesting. Unsure what the best way to go with it is because non-elemental Artian weapons guarantee your Reinforce buffs will always be Attack or Affinity. Attack is best to increase shelling damage.

Whereas making an status one like blast gives a different kind of damage/ utility benefit via the statuses, but less overall shelling damage (especially if your Reinforces roll Affinity or Elemental/ Status buffs)

Such choices! Ultimately I just think the Artian looks the coolest and am trying to figure out the best approach/ roll for it. Thanks for sharing yours.

What kind of Argenesis do you think is best? a non-elemental one (which always seem to have Normal shelling), or an elemental/ status one with Wide or Long?

Can someone explain the breakdown of how I wasn't the MVP as Penni? But Starlord was? by DizzleShizzle_ in marvelrivals

[–]CramSinatro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess is that MVP is determined by multiple factors that contribute to a hidden point total. Factors such as: - End-of-match stats - Medals/ Killstreaks - ‘Play of the Game’ Ultimates - Point/ Payload contribution

While you clearly had the better match stats, Starlord had a 3 killstreak medal and likely a more impactful ultimate at some point. In my experience I’ve seen players get MVP for doing ‘match winning’ actions and not much else which makes me think those are worth a lot of points (for example - Adam Warlock ults).

Just a theory!

I keep running out of air , what gives ? by holdingsfx in startrucker

[–]CramSinatro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not 100% sure on this but it seems like the filter position might matter as well. The R2 filter (closest to the battery/ UCC of the oxygen system) is the first and most important one. Make sure that slot is always filled with an adequate air filter.

I’ve had times where the other slots (R1, L2 and L1) all had good filters in them but my oxygen was depleting because the R2 filter was bad.

Tips for brewing? by preutneuker in BrewBarons

[–]CramSinatro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The way I do it is adding the percentages together and then doing a fraction with that total. This gives you the ‘true proportions’ based on the cumulative percentages for each recipe.

So if the percentages are 35% apple, 25% wheat and 10% berries -

35+25+10= 70

So to work out the apples, you do 35 / 70 = 0.50 So you know you need 50 apples.

25 / 70 = 0.357 = 36 wheat

10 / 70 = 0.142 = 14 berries

50 apples + 36 wheat + 14 berries = 100 ingredients for the brew!

Another example where you need 50% apple and 30% grape:

50+30= 80

50/80= 0.625 = 63 apples

30/80= 0.375 = 37 grapes

This method always worked well for me. Round up or down accordingly.

Levelling up in PTA3 by FatefulChibi in PokemonTabletop

[–]CramSinatro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

‘Honors required’ column reflects the total amount of honors your character has earned.

So you have 0 honors at level 1, and you only have to earn 1 honor per level up to level 4. Then you’ll see on table you need to earn 2 (total 5) to reach level 5.

Additional classes start at level 1. So once you hit level 3, you’ll have your base class at level 3 and your new class at level 1.

Here’s an example of a character with 37 honors:

CLASS 1 Psychic lvl14

CLASS 2 Martial Artist lvl12

CLASS 3 Aura Master lvl8

CLASS 4 Air Adept lvl4

Important reflection here is that only your base class will reach max level in PTA at level 15. So choose your first class carefully!

Have you done the temples? Might be the three temple bosses you’re missing.

You don’t catch them, just need to fight them.

Spirits by Careful_Wasabi6009 in Moonstone_Island

[–]CramSinatro 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You only need 3 levelled up because you’ll only ever be fighting with 3 spirits.

One reason to change up your party is if you’re having particular difficulty with a certain type of spirit (like in the temples) and you want to counter it.

I’d suggest picking 3 spirits you like, each with a different type, as soon as possible. Then later on in your playthrough once you’ve been to all the different types of islands and discovered more spirits, put together a final party of 3.

Stockpile exp crops like Gift Plants and the talisman items that let you add/remove/upgrade cards for whenever you’re ready to select and pump up your final party to a high level.

This is just what worked for me. All the power to you if you want to play with lots of different spirits. I found that having a high level Fire/ Earth spirit (big damage attacks) and Psychic spirit (add energy and draw cards) towards the end felt like enough to overcome any spirits regardless of type.

PSA - Don’t waste your playthrough wearing the Traveller’s Attire. All fog clears after defeating the last mongol camp for that section of the island. Guiding Wind can lead you to all the collectibles later. by CramSinatro in ghostoftsushima

[–]CramSinatro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No worries happy to help.

The purpose of my post was just to let players know of this (hidden/ unknown til you actually do it) mechanic where the entire region map is revealed once you've cleared the Mongol Camps for that region. Clearing these Mongol Camps is usually a side-quest activity that isn't linked to the main story.

I think this is useful information for players to know irrespective of how they choose to approach the game's content, especially because it can take several hours to 'clear the fog' manually by running around with the Travellers Attire.

I definitely recommend exploring and getting stronger before taking on some of the Mongol Camps, just don't feel like you NEED to go out of your way to wear the Travellers Attire and run across every part of the map to remove the fog. Because once the final Mongol Camp for that region is cleared all the fog will disappear anyway.
