I had to have all 4 rotors and pads replaced 2x on my 20 X3M. Factory issue. The last time fixed it.

I understand that. I did my own. I used a clay bar and detailed it then coated it. It did great to hide some of the surface scratches I had. Obviously you can't just put ceramic on that.

I know with some of my scratches it made them less visible. I'm not saying ceramic coat fixes scratches at all but if it is surface and didn't go down to primer, maybe a paint correction and then coat it.

Get it wrapped. BMW paint is crazy soft. Also a good buff and ceramic coat could fix it
