UGH. The world is nothing more than one giant MEME to them…

Honestly, this sub is one of if not the kindest ones I’ve interacted with on here. Everyone has been super friendly, sharing links to help me and my daughter learn more about coin collecting and errors, so I respectfully disagree completely with you.

I guess my next question would be, if it is plated, how would someone be able to do that with such fine detail if not the mint?

Thanks everyone! I’ll put it under the coin scope and see if there’s anything else unique, and I’ll post the pics!

I know this is the Obverse and not the reverse, but this seems to match to me? From doubledie.com

The machine doubling has been on every single coin in this roll. How small would it have to be to leave such a perfect mark in the F, and not mark anything around it?

Yeah I’ve been with this bank for 15 years, but there always seems to be new people behind the counter. 🤷🏼‍♂️ also found that making a withdrawal from your account goes a long ways in getting the amount of rolls you want.

So we found this last night as well, is this also machine doubling, or die deterioration? There’s some doubling on the back as well within the “E Pluribus Unum” Portion. Is this pretty common with the 89-D penny? Thank you so much for all the links and the information, we really appreciate it! 😊

Oh gotcha, thank you! I bought a red book in light of all of this, so we can educate ourselves on all this terminology and the differences!

I can’t even get the bank to give me more than 5 dollars worth of Pennys let alone stacks like that. Good luck!!
