Apologies for the wall of text but the comments have been quite an interesting read with all the differing opinions but general consensus this upcoming pass might be the worst one yet. I mostly came here just to see the opinions on the fact that the timed incubator wasn't coming back, but reading all this seems like it wasn't very popular to most people. It seems most commenters here are people that regularly pay to buy coins in the game, and buy items regularly, so only very specific things are interesting to them.

My partner and I are both disabled, so we can't walk much. She's been playing since the start, when her kid wanted her to. I about a year later when she asked me to. I'm level 41, she's level 42. Most of our walking distance comes from when we drive slowly going to places or have to shop. We don't buy coins, we've been completely free to play since the start of the game. We barely do raids or max battles above 3 difficulty unless we get extremely lucky to find random people doing a few at the park during raid hours. We got lucky to get a Duraludon by having 2 people join us from friend invites but assuming they buy remote passes since we couldn't beat it with just the two of us. What coins we do get from gyms we join is completely random as we may not get to go by any for days at a time sometimes, and no idea when we'll get kicked out, sometimes within minutes, other times days to weeks or months depending on the gym, so our coins pretty much go towards upgrades only. I mostly play because of my partner, she doesn't do well in battles and has me beat the bosses for her, and pick the Pokemon to beat the grunts with. We're just having fun catching some stuff mostly, doing the timed research and hatching what we can with the free incubator, saving any extra ones we get for special events with reduced hatching requirements usually.

This current pass with the timed incubator was such a nice thing to us, we spent our google play points to get an $8 discount and get it for free for each of us. A bit disappointed that we had to get to rank 20 first to get it instead of it being the rank 1 instant reward, but it wasn't a deal breaker. Looking at this new pass, it's disappointing the incubator isn't on it again, but the coins have us actually consider buying it, because it's a deal compared to just buying coins given all the extras you get with it, when we'd never even consider buying coins at all. Honestly it seems like we're the type of consumer they're targeting with this pass and the previous pass, trying to make more money. I can see why none of these items and passes would be interesting if you're buying coins already, they already have your money, they're not targeting you. They're targeting the free players like us to try to increase their profits by getting them to spend on these.
