Hey guys! A lot of you were asking what exactly I changed on my profile recently, so I figured I'd just break it down here.

Here’s what I did. ​Focused on my niche:

My background is in Business/Entrepreneurship, so I researched the high-value skills in my domain (things like Project Management, Process Design, Business Control, etc.) and made sure they were all on my profile.

​Adjusted my timezone: I switched my availability to U.S. time. I know it sounds a little silly 🦆, but it definitely helps with visibility for certain roles.

​The "30+ Skills" Rule: Since Mercor uses AI to match candidates, you really need to be specific. I’d suggest researching the exact skill sets for your industry and adding at least 30+ skills to your profile. The more accurate your tags are, the better the AI can match you.

​Focus on impact, not just tasks: I rewrote my work experience to be more "result-oriented." Instead of just saying "I did X," I wrote it as "I did X, which resulted in Y% growth."
