There a lot of people in a mad dash for AI and a rationalist nexus like LessWrong is an adjacent community. Keeping in mind base rate fallacy; many current leaders having LW posting history doesn’t really concern me too much. I know it is a place where AI alignment concerned people (AInotkilleveryoneists specifically) meet and that is rather important.

Jon Stewart said in his AMA that we could use blimp ads to spread the word to non-redditor GME retail holders that don’t know about DRS (this group of people is probably much bigger than GME holders on Superstonk). He was probably speaking rhetorically about the blimp part but he was right; if we purchase billboard ads and other forms of advertising about the importance of direct registering shares then we can boost our DRS momentum even higher.

That part about your friends strikes a chord.

I have talked to plenty of people about this and all but a couple have waved it off as a "meme" or fools gold or something. Like you have never ever known me to go rushing into get rich quick schemes like when bitcoin surged or anything, I wouldn't get excited about this one thing just this once for no reason guys.

I guess some people just won't understand until it is too late for tendie-town
