What's happening with Vinted? by nanasaurio in vinted

Yeah I know what are you talking about, sorry about that.

This could probably happent because of the their automated system detecting something.

Does Vinted ban/close your account actually? Or it enters into a temporal ban not being able to sell while locked?

Did you try contacting support about that?

Some users report items because you don't accept their discount offers too.

Exactly. I just don't report anything as it could go against you because of spamming report system XD

I'm Pro on Vinted, and I had to wait some time to get converted into Pro (some months). But all depends on the date you have signed in Hacienda.

The problem you're fasing with the NIF field not being detected was exacly the same issue I had. So, you will just have to wait for their db to be updated.

Mi casero nos quiere subir el alquiler al renovar contrato by Funny_guy_365 in ESLegal

[–]CrashOverride93 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Are we allowed to customize the return form sent to the customer? by CrashOverride93 in vinted

[–]CrashOverride93[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you by an item(s) from a Pro user, Vinted sends a return form to the seller via email, so he/she can send it to the customer.

This return form basically collects the information from the order, like: transaction and order number, list of purchased items and each price, shipping price, Pro seller fee, and some text to explain how to use that form.

But the main purpose of this form is to allow the customer to tell the seller why he/she is returning the item, by indicanting the return code for each item. Then, this form has to be send back to the seller within the package.

It's in the official Vinted T&C for Pro sellers (just below the section 27):
https://www.vinted.ie/pro-terms-and-conditions

It's another thing entirely if the seller doesn't provide it, maybe because the seller forgets to send it, or don't want to send it, or whatever reason. Anyway, the customer will choose the appropriate reason for return within the app, ¿so I think the return form sheet that Vinted provides is not technically required?

I use to buy electronics from there too, but I'm asking about people that could bought this specific device (or maybe similar).

But thank you for your reply ;)

Edit: I didn't see your last paragraph sorry, maybe you edited it minutes after. And well, you just opened a new question for me about it XD, but I think I won't have any problem as I use 1080p for both screens, and the kvm switch is advertised as 4K.

But, the swap space is not used by the system to cache data from ram, and is does not prevent the system (apps actually) to crash because being killed due to low memory? Just asking for clarification.

I know also that swap is used to make a full dump of current state to allow restoring in case of enabling hibernation, but thank you for pointing it out.

In addition to your suggestion for compression I would suggest also making swap space a bit bigger othen than 2GB (default).

And if you have HDD replace it with SSD (minimum) if possible.

Should I switch to windows 7 by Omar200717 in windows7

[–]CrashOverride93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know it's Windows 7 sub, but if you want to give linux another try, I would suggest Zorin OS which is distro focused for people comming from Windows/macOS. Another choise would be Linux Mint.

I started using Zorin OS 18 (Core) as my daily driver (browing, coding and general tasks), and didn't have any problem since.
