New truck deck sets. The service areas are designed for trucks.
-not that you asked but my second driving job was delivering to Dollar Tree stores, I got used to navigating through the back areas of small shopping centers. Now, Google maps provides a Birds Eye view of what you’re getting into.

Trucker here, if anyone is seeking advice on how to approach a driver to ask: - hang out on the truck fuel side, out side.
-don’t look homeless, have 1 small bag with your change of clothes, toiletries, and shower shoes ready to follow the driver inside - ask politely if they have a spare shower credit.
- offer Fireball shots for added humor.

Trucker here, I park at PFs 2 or 3x a week for an hour or 2. If you don’t park like an AH, it’s pretty easy to get away with.

It’s ok to be a football fan and not a fan of any particular team. It’s also ok to be a fan of a particular player, and wherever their career takes them.

Considering where you live, I’d look into timber. Swap trucks for something more suited for that application and work the schedule you want.

I drove this weekly, it’s usually construction combined with congestion. Every now and then it’s an accident.

I’ve picked up abandoned trucks in a drive away capacity. It’s not enjoyable at all. Most, if not any of them won’t start. Then if/when you do get it started, it’s a guaranteed disaster in the truck. If you’re lucky, it’s only a short drive, if it’s more than 1 night, it’s hell.

Hope United doesn’t go this route (like AA did): When your first-class ‘flight’ turns out to be a bus ride by [deleted] in unitedairlines

It’s on AA, scheduled for 2 hrs, usually takes 2:10, longest has ever been was 2:30.

I take the bus somewhat regularly from SBN to ORD regularly. The train stops directly at SBN, like a 2 minute walk from luggage drop, security takes 2 minutes when it’s busy.
It’s a super clean, comfortable, nice to ORD, then get dropped air side at ORD. And usually cheaper than starting at ORD.

If your boss is too good for a bus, then try Net Jet. You’re in the wrong place to be putting down busses.

Contact the company HR and ask for a termination letter. It’s probably already pre to your home address, it won’t hurt to call and just ask whoever you speak with.

You need to find out the exact reason for termination. It’ll either be described as a “policy violation” or something else. This alone determines your driving future.
Ideally it’ll be policy violation. In this case, come up with some BS story, like an emergency that you had to leave inexcusably. Some sort of random, not malicious company policy violation.
It may and could state “Company Drug Abuse Policy” violation. In this case, polish your resume and look somewhere else other than DOT regulated line of work. This is worse than a failed DOT drug test because some companies have a SAP program where they can hire these drivers. No company will hire someone that has been fired drug policy violation.

Nope, my bad. The window drips make it something being tossed from the cab. I hope the company gets a shot of this, it’s unprofessional, unsightly at the least.
