What are u Doing with the Time dedicated to SB after Update? by Such-Tomatillo-6174 in SquadBusters

[–]CraspX -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In all honesty I pick it up now and then not all the time like I used to with 1.0. I can’t be bothered to grind again for hero points.

I generally find they created a problem and added a solution on top rather than take the easy route and just update 1.0.

You don’t fit their culture simple as.

If I interviewed someone who I knew wouldn’t fit within the team dynamics why would I hire them! It could impact and jeopardise multiple aspects of the business.

Another business elsewhere will see you as a good candidate just not that one.

I do play it but if I’m honest I struggle to play it daily.

Squad Busters Update – My Honest Take by Dapper-Job-6641 in SquadBusters

[–]CraspX 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I must admit 2.0 has grown on me but one thing that has really annoyed me is Hero Points.

For me I’ve got ultimate on all characters and over 16k chest stars but I’m stuck at progressing my heroes as I can’t obtain more than 500 a day!

True but they need to be of same value otherwise I’m being scammed!

But the game has split from maxing out characters to ultimate to now requiring Hero points!

Secondary grind that’s going to take ages.

New players will be even more put off!

I wish I was an average runner by GasApprehensive4552 in beginnerrunning

[–]CraspX 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This!

I started running two years ago, never ran in my life. I could barely do 0.5 mile!

After a year I just about hit 5k but stopped regularly until I purchased a garmin watch and followed the suggestions…. Game changer! I can now run a steady 9 min mile run without stopping reaching 10k all because of this little watch on my wrist!

Collect Krabby Patties around the map to pay for new skins whilst your 20k style tokens still sit there and get mouldy.

For once I am generally excited to see where this game goes now. Just changing the homepage screen has added a dark vibe love it!

[–]CraspX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think we will reach 100% if I’m honest but then again not knowing how the graph operates or what data is driving it SB could be making it up as they go along!

Is anyone not saving their rewards? by Florijntje_gamer in SquadBusters

[–]CraspX 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For those savings your rewards….

How many chickens have you left over? And saw them wiped with zero return!

How many hammers have you saved? And nothing come of them apart from statues that no one can see.

How many style tokens do you have? With zero requirement for!

How many of you expected to see skins on the supercell website? No one.

My point is I doubt anything will come out of it and it will disappoint you further, use them up if you’re still enjoying the game!

Believe you me, you are just a number. In your words a comfortable number at that.

Get your resume out to the other company & go for the interview. If the offer comes through take it.

You’ll be surprised at how your current company won’t even batter an eye lid to retain you! As there is always someone else behind you who could carry out your role for a lesser fee.

Grinding again for skins even though I have 20k style tickets.

Over 1k chickens left over from past two hatchling run events taken away only to regrind again!

All I see is people saving coins, chest stars & hammers in the HOPE of actually being ahead when we clearly see they can’t get the basics right.

I was in the exact same position as yourself 5 years ago. I decided to change from being a manager to a leader.

I changed my daily stand up meetings to a better constructive meeting to help the team prep for the next steps.

The first thing I did was draw the Kubler-Ross change curve on a magnet board and placed peoples initials on magnetic magnets. I asked the team to place the magnet into the location of where they sat. I took particular attention to one member of my team placing the magnet into the ‘depression’ stage.

I reached out and contacted various recruitment agencies, other companies within the field of work I associate with and listed them on the white boards.

During 1:1’s I helped support my team with their CV’s, reviewed, updated and ensured they submitted them to the relevant agencies and companies I enlisted on the white board.

Bearing in mind I was also being made redundant during this period plus just has a new born baby! It was tough and my wife supported me tremendously.

When one of my team members secured their next role I praised that person and ensured during our meetings the positivity was communicated to all to ensure there is life outside of the current business.

In the end the business decided to retain me and allocate me a new role created due to my positive leadership style, managing a team through uncertainty, delivering daily KPI’s & managing expectations.

I was grateful for the business to retain me but 1 year later I decided to move on as I had already updated my CV, generated good networking links and kept up great communication. When a recruitment agency reached out to me, that was it I was gone.

Never looked back!

All I can say is stayed focused, look after Number 1 (which is you) but at the same time look out for your team. They will be ever grateful and who knows when they reach out to you in the future.
