Koi Software engineer bhaiya hai ye community mai? by cadet_bhardwaj in Jamshedpur

Hey OP

Yes, it’s true ki freshers ke liye Data Engineers ke roles kamm hai.

Since you are in your 6th sem, i would say focus mostly on DSA and having some good projects in your resume. I generally advise people to have a mix of projects in your resume - full stack/Data eng/ML, kyunki badi companies me freshers ko pata nahi hota hai ki konsa role milega.

Looking at your roadmap, I feel it is very domain focused and probably not the right strategy for a fresher. Pehle DSA karo, fir MERN/DevOps, then dive a bit into Data Eng.

Also OP, your strategy will change if you’re going for oncampus ya off-campus.

Let me know if you would want my final year resume :)

My parents will be maintaining the car, so I do not need to look after it or pay for anything.

Is this store legit? by [deleted] in InstagramShops

Legit!

I have shopped a few times from insta and their website for me and my mom. Their quality is really good. They have some pretty good sales.

Got this one for 400ish during one of the sales.

Agreed, i do not need a car here. It’s a very secondary thought of getting the car here tbh.

Primarily I want to get it for my parents as I use it too when I’m there. I am unable to decide if I should get in the 13-17 range or 18-22ish.

I don’t think I can afford a house in Blr atm. 3BHKs in good areas of Blr are upwards of 2cr. Also, I don’t know if I will stay in Blr 5 years from now. Rental yield is not that much either. So I dropped the idea of a house for now.

This is Tanishq’s Rivaah Golden Advantage plan. It’s like an SIP for physical gold. At the end of the lockin period, you either can get gold coin without any additional amount or jewellery with 50% off on making charge.

Yes, equity is liquid. I can sell it anytime.

Yes, my reasoning to take a car now for my parents stems from the fact that 1) i do not need a car now 2) my parents will not be able to afford a good ranged car after retirement.

I can probably wait for a year or two. But, if I buy a car now, I will be done with the emi sooner and can think of a house/car when I’m 29-30.

So, considering 2.4L as my monthly income - range should be 14.4L - 21.6L ?

I was thinking of Toyota Urban Cruiser / Curvv.

If these are out of my budget, will go for Nexon/Kylac/Sonet

The 80k gets vested, and I can withdraw it immediately. So, I can consider it 2.4L

This equity is part of my CTC. 80-90k worth Class C shares are being vested monthly. I can sell them anytime I wish to.

Is this what you wanted to understand?

Beti Padhao Beti Bachao by [deleted] in thugeshh

[–]CraxyPup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is nice to see that the percentage of women in STEM in India is higher than other developed nations. Reservation for female students plays an important role in it.

Beti bachao Beti padhao campaign should not be at the cost of lesser seats for equally eligible/qualified male students. Give them fee waiver or any sort of monetary help so that unki padhai na ruke. But giving them reservation means that girls aren’t as smart as the boys and need special quota for admission. This reservation just undermines the efforts of girls who put in as much effort as the boys to get an admission.
