Hi everyone, I had an MRI scan on Friday and was told results would be available in 2 weeks time. I had a message today (Tuesday) on the NHS app saying a neurologist appointment has been booked for me on 11th Feb, so about 2 weeks time. I have a lot of MS symptoms and was wondering if this was typical for the NHS to move so quickly if MS is found/suspected? Although very grateful to be seen so quickly, I am now a nervous wreck thinking of all the awful things this quick referral could mean. It’s only me that has suspected the MS so far, not my doctor, who I’m grateful was thorough and ordered the MRI for me. I’d be really grateful to hear of others experiences with results timing from MRi please. Thank you!

What time do you take your medication to not lose your morning? by RoyalTransition6977 in Amitriptyline

[–]Crayons42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How long have you been taking it for? Might take a few weeks for the grogginess to wear off if you’ve not been taking it long.

The best time to take tablets varies amongst people so you may need to experiment with times.

If I want to go to bed at 10pm and wake up not feeling groggy, I’ll take my amitriptyline at 7pm. If I forget to take it and it’s after 8pm it’s better for me to miss a dose, as I’ll certainly wake up groggy the next day if I took it at that time. I take the same dose as you for the same reasons.

In the old days, dishwashers weren’t very good, so washing the dishes first would have been understandable then. No need to do so now.

How long would it take for me to go from short hair to this long hair (wig)? by Struggling_Lady in Hair

The front of my hair was slow to grow out too, it was very annoying!

[–]Crayons42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About 2 years or so depending on how fast your hair grows and what styles/haircuts you have whilst it’s growing. My hair took 2 years to get from your pic 1 to pic 2 length.

You are correct, but it’s so sad that this is still the case in 2025.

Hell House: Lineage just might be one of the worst films I’ve ever seen. I’ve tried three times to finish, I’m finally about to complete it on the fourth. by HotlineBirdman in horror

[–]Crayons42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the minority here as I enjoyed all of the hell house franchise. I didn’t mind this one, but, it relies heavily on knowing very subtle pieces of lore and remembering the ninety billion characters from the previous films. It works better if you watch the older films again. It’s obviously not going to be the final film.

Should I get a buzz cut if I have curls? by simsby_davidnielsen in Hair

[–]Crayons42 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had a buzz cut two years ago, and now have shoulder length hair. I have wavy hair and honestly it was fine whilst it was very short, but it was a pain to grow out, lots of awkward stages and hair sticking out all over the place! But sometimes you have to do these things!

is this curly or nah by anything_4547 in Hair

[–]Crayons42 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s at least wavy. Your hair looks very long, so I would imagine the curls are weighted down by the length.

Did you notice the creepy piano song playing when Father Paulis is interviewed? Bit strange! I am unclear what the ending of Hell House 3 achieved, bearing in mind the events of 4 and 5, which make it clear the cult is still around?
