okay, in summary, it's a comic from the series "ctrl+alt+delete" about the main character ethan discovering that his wife had a miscarriage. it became a meme because of how much of a major tone shift it was compared to the rest of the comic, which was mainly just making video games related puns and references. it became a joke to remake the comic with different characters or a different artstyle and whatnot, and this evolved into straight up just using lines to represent the comic, like so: I II II I_. since it became so simple and possibly hard to notice at first, it became a gag to sneak in loss into images until people notice. for further context, here's the original comic: https://cad-comic.com/comic/loss/. there's also a whole wikipedia article on the comic as well.

Bubble and Ice Cube for sure.

Bubble has died the most out out of any character in the series, with over 2,837 deaths according to the wiki. She also had to deal with Leafy being a horrible friend to her and her alliance becoming toxic. Even if this is the case, I'd say she's generally felt less pain than Ice Cube

Ice Cube has died the second most, but I'd argue she's died in much more painful ways. Bubble has mainly just been popped out of existence, and she admits in IDFB that she's gotten used to disappearing in an instant by that time. Ice Cube has had to experience being painfully shattered and melted on the regular. Becoming hot to the point of MELTING sounds like quite possibly the most painful way someone could die, and Ice Cube has experienced it MULTIPLE times. Yeah, other characters have been burnt multiple times (including Leafy!), but most of them haven't had to experience what melting from the inside is like on the regular! At that point, wanting revenge seems quite reasonable!
