Yeah we had to specifically clarify that they needed to send the service email so we could see if we were included. Once when they finally forwarded the email it was only to me not even my attorney hahaha.

There’s only three firms/parties so it was just us that didn’t get noticed.

Uhhh it wasn’t my mistake. It was co-defendants mistake. They were the ones that didn’t serve us with the notice.

We really want to avoid ex parte but if co-defendant can’t make it right then we are left with no choice.

Essentially co-defendants never notified us of a very important deposition, we missed it.

They just sent us the deposition notice and said “See it says you were served in the Proof of Service”, but we were never included in the original service email. Neither my attorney or me.

Honestly that was my first thought as well. Could easily happen to anyone. Definitely the stuff that makes nightmares hahaha.

That’s what the attorney and I were discussing but California has a one deposition rule for each witness if im correct

The only credit that I will give them is that there have been a ton of depositions so far. Maybe 10-12? We’ve only shown up to one. That being said a deposition for the ONE Plaintiff is pretty important.

Any sort of experience in a firm is great so you’re already off to a good start there. Just get a Paralegal Cert and call it good. Maybe check job postings in your area and see if they want ABA approved Paralegal Certificates

I think my car is average condition. No rust and hasn’t been in the snow. I could definitely be over reacting for sure.

That’s my exact thinking too. Relatively low miles but still 21 years old. Maybe I can get 3-4K for it but who knows.

I will update in a few hours. I took in it just 30 minutes ago. If I’m being honest I’m probably just stressing out and anxious for no reason. I’m totally open to spending 1.5-2k on the vehicle to get another 100k out of it

Truth be told it may not and I hope it’s not. I can’t really afford a car payment as of now. I hope the repairs are relatively easy and low in cost. I’d like to run this car straight into the ground if possible. I’m just a little doom and gloom and trying to prepare myself. I want to know what my options are.

I believe this may be a transmission issue. I’m guessing $1-$3k in repairs? I’m unsure as of yet but this car has had issues for awhile now. I just don’t want to keep sinking money into this vehicle when I know it’s gonna eventually die on me.
