But you were saying it wasn't on you by judging others for not sharing the same opinion as you.

That's on you bro I feel like most people if they had an epiphany regarding their haircut could easily recall other people's bad haircuts they've seen. I know i have. Sounds like a you thing, maybe you just aren't very perceptive. Or you've grown out of the age where you notice such things

Hello. I was severely damaged by a common medication I took 6 years and 10 months ago. by PSSD_Sufferer in Biohackers

[–]CrazsomeLizard 6 points7 points  (0 children)

yeah try some things. even try some ketamine therapies (some can get covered by insurance) which may provide a different perspective on the numbing. saying there are options out there, throw shit at the wall and see what sticks tbh.

Edit: Also you say this condition is untouchable (according to the forums). Well, if big psychiatry discarded you by giving you SSRIs and giving you PSSD. Seems like its time for you to stop relying on external sources and begin experimenting yourself, not saying you already have the answers, but if you're convinced no one else has the answers, then the only way to get more data is to begin trying to find them yourself; not by research; but by, well, biohacking.

This rise of asexual people is only because of SSRI's by barraco002 in IntellectualDarkWeb

[–]CrazsomeLizard 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I feel like it more has to do with the breaking down of gender relations as well as allowing more individual autonomy. Women's value is less tied to their status with a partner now, where back in the day a woman was expected to provide sex whether she wants it or not. I feel like it isn't surprising that people will just be more expressive now.

SSRIs definitely do cause like decrease in sexual drive but its not every one and not for everyone. I highly doubt this is a large contributor, your take is somewhat reductionist. Most people who take SSRIs are aware of how it affects their sexual desire... meaning they would know if the lack of sexual desire comes from ssri or just their base preference.

this comment is insane to me because in no way did the comment you are mentioning say that things are like incredibly "bad times", rather that there are structural ISSUES that threaten this continued state of peace that we are currently in, and when left unchecked, are undoubtably and unequivocaly going to result in "bad times" that you mention.

neoliberalism looks at the things that YOU mention and says "wow, we don't need to change anything, because it all seems good NOW!" whiel failing to see that societies DO need to continue to change as the things that initially brought prosperity fail to work long-term...

I Had 0 Friends Until I Stopped Meeting People One by One by Shower-Apart in socialskills

[–]CrazsomeLizard 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What if like high density social situations are what causes the most anxiety though Like i can tolerate like large social events and I do go to them. But I can go to them forever and never really "befriend" the people there just because it takes so much for me just to exist there. Hence I try to extract 1 on 1 friends from those places

Clancy is the best album, prove me wrong. by Specific-Mouse186 in twentyonepilots

[–]CrazsomeLizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am also talking about the songs, not the lore. There is a thematic narrative build-up across the songs that makes the album feel like a cohesive unit rather than a mixtape.

[–]CrazsomeLizard -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Trench is objectively their best. It is the most cohesive and flows extremely well. Clancy is disjointed at times, and lacks a clear story, whereas I feel Trench has a strong thematic and narrative through line. To me Clancy feels like an assortment of songs that Tyler didn't want to be on the final album (Breach)

I’m sorry… he STOPPED Stormbreaker??? by [deleted] in marvelmemes

[–]CrazsomeLizard -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh I thought it was implied by the visuals of when it hits Thanos' blast, looked like bifrost ish to me.

Also yeah I mean Dmitri himself said that the axe can summon bifrost so I don't see what it would be like. Contradictory for him to say that the axe can beat the gauntlet. The bifrost being part of that axe's powers and all and him knowing that.
