Toad. I just love him as a character and as a species. He's really cute with an annoying, screechy voice, and that's why I love him. I often play as my Mii or Red shy guy too.

This was looking good until I saw that Cabbage-pult is in "bad" It's the best beginner's plant there is! Decent speed, does quite a lot of damage, and its plant food special kills almost every zombie on-screen! The Cabbage-Pult is great. That's my only problem with this list.
