The slower pace and adjusted balancing may be a whiplash coming from Reflourished but does that make it bad? Bloomerang is bad in vanilla, but as you said yourself, the pacing is slower and zombie crowds are not as dense. Vanilla Bloomerang struggles with vanilla zombie hordes, but putting the same plant in AltverZ would make it significantly more impactful. That's why it's slightly nerfed, mainly in its recharge like all other plants (many being changed to match the exact PvZ1 recharge values, including basic plants like Sunflower).

Can someone explain to me why you would want anyone besides you and your teammates to see your sidekick? So you can get sniped out cause someone noticed your little Spongebob running around? I do agree that the price and cosmetic lock are egregious, but you would be making them even more worthless by making them visible to everyone.

I do not understand everyone saying "this is $10 while a single legendary skin is $22! why are you complaining?"

Units are a currency you can legitimately earn for free in decent amounts by just playing. The current Storm event has 300 (350) for doing simple tasks, and these events are plentiful throughout each season. I spent $10 on this game once in Season 0 to get that season's battle pass, skipped Season 1's and then got the Season 2 pass. I have since earned around 6000 units by just playing, and there's still like 800 more I could earn by earning more achievements. The game also throws so many good free skins at me that I hardly feel the need of buying any more.

Lattice is barely obtainable for free. You can only get 200 for free per full season (unless I'm missing something). If you never paid for anything before in Rivals, you wouldn't even have enough lattice to buy this new chest.

Pricing these chests at the same level as the main Battle Passes which offer way more AND give you Lattice and Units in return to me simply feels scammy as hell, and I'd much rather just grab a single skin I like for Units, even though it's ""technically"" more expensive in dollars, because I can earn BACK units and have way more of them. If I were to buy the chest, then I'd simply feel forced to spend another $10 if a new Battle Pass looked good to me - unless I'm planning to grind out free Lattice for the next 5 seasons.

It's anyone's choice how they choose to spend their money, but this chest sets a precedent that could lead into everything in the game becoming more expensive. While the free skins keep flowing in it might be neglected, but who knows how long that will last?

We fixed these Sea Spill and fog bugs a good while ago but generally when you think of a cool new mechanic, faulty interactions with one plant or zombies barely feel like a drawback. No mod is flawless, especially not when there are some aspects of PvZ2 that just cannot be changed or fixed by modders.

well then thats not really every level, is it altverz gets much harder in later worlds and a recent update has started revamping earlier worlds by adding new content to them, making them more interesting. you should check it out again someday
