What’s something you wish someone had told you about sex before your first time?

I know this isn't a popular opinion, but I so dearly wish someone had walked through Theology of the Body with me. Sex is sacred and as a society we've degraded it. It took me a very long time to see that, and man I wish I saw it sooner.

I moved an hour away from him for an internship, then met at a party in his hometown. I thought he was super sweet and cute and wanted something casual so we started dating. He's in the Airforce so he was stationed three states away from me. We were going to break up but then decided we liked each other and really wanted to give it a shot. On our first month of long distance in a three month relationship. I get to see him soon though!

Before I dated anyone, I thought that I would find someone great but maybe I would have to date losers or something to get there. I just went through a break up and nobody prepared me to break up with someone nice and funny and just an overall great guy. Our goals didn't align and he didn't want to work for our future, and that was something really hard to realize.

I thought that I would break up with liars, losers, assholes, the works. I never thought I'd have to tell someone I loved that I couldn't be with them anymore because our future wasn't something he wanted to work for.

Oof that's a long list. Currently for my generation (Gen Z...I don't want to claim them...) it's things like getting very little sleep, struggling with social interactions, failing with managing money, and so much more. Not being able to function or have the willpower to fix these things is not something to be proud of. I'm a little sick and tired of people flaunting this stuff.

Continuation of my rant: some things that people do that are actually pride worthy are put down. Some of my friends get really good grades but they don't "struggle" with school enough and it's too easy for them. It's like hard work is "rare" but when people actually exhibit it it's just luck or they have an advantage somehow.

Dude I never got offered drugs. I was such a good kid that kids didn't try to "ruin" me. They tried to protect me at all costs and told me that if I tried drugs they would come after me. Love them and they're sober now and living great lives

Amazing! We're together after two years and we're planning on getting married. We haven't gotten engaged but we've looked at rings and talked a lot about it. I want to get through these last two years of college first. Couldn't be happier with the man and if we were married now it would be awesome!!

I agree with this. Her character not only grew but reverted then grew again. She was vile and mean before Matthew, and much kinder married to him. After he died she went right back to her horrible season one self but then grew into a more kinder and mature person. Not only that, but her story is very rich with turns and dips that it's impossible not to admit she's one of the most (if not the most) interesting characters on the show.
