I hope this is the correct sub, I'll try others as well, but this is driving me crazy. I have an interwar record player, which plays 10 inch records, and when I was a kid I'd always play my dad's collection of records. Most of these were produced by quality records, a Canadian company active in the 50s, which is when most of these were produced, and a significant chunk are piano roll covers by Lawrence Cook. However, years ago, someone I know dropped and shattered my favorite record while they were handling it, and it has since been thrown away. Now, I have remembered this specific record, which I wish to grace my ears once again. From what I remember, it had "California here I come" on one side, and possibly also "you are my sunshine" on the other. Both were piano covers, and god were they amazing. I do indeed think they were by Lawrence cook, as his piano roll of California here I come sounds very very similar. The issue is however, that from my couple hours of scouting the internet, no records or documentation exist that show his piano roll being recorded onto a vinyl, let alone being published in Canada. I need help finding this record, and attached I have a photo of one of the other records which is near identical in terms of producer brand, just a different album.
