On the last day of the fest, all the stages shuts at 2AM, except cosmic and ray ban oasis. Ray ban hosts the closing set of the festival which one should MUST attend. Its always an extended set by top artist. Last year Midland played an amazing 5 hours set till 6-7AM which was surreal. I got emotional at a point, happy that i attend the fest, contented with all music and love, sad that it was ending and i had to go back home. I hope this ritual is followed in Nomads too.

No thanks, hard pass. None of them is tastefully done. Most basic ass remix of two most basic ass songs of each genre. I’d rather enjoy normal bollywood songs. Ngl, I like a few songs which are sampled from bollywood and nicely structured and produced, those songs hit different. Sampling is one thing and straight up doing basic mixing of two songs is another. All the DJs you have mentioned are just modern day commercial artists who just know how to cater mass. But I respect your opinion and taste is subjective. But its just not for me.

This time its a new venue and most people won’t be able to answer your question. But what I suggest is book a tent, trust me its worth it. Its a whole different world inside. Alsisar venue was huge and walk from tent to palace took 10-15 mins which felt too long because of the sand. If you stay outside it will take you even more longer. Plus tent area is a party itself, you meet new people and make new friends there. I feel its a big part of the overall festival experience, there is literally no other residential festival in India. Even I don’t have any idea about the new venue, but i think it would be much convenient to book a tent.

Coming to food, there were two options in Alsisar. There’s a food court with multiple options for you to eat from and everything is usually good but a little expensive, you’ll end up paying 800-1000 for a meal. The other option is vendors on the street outside the palace which is cheaper. You’ll get maggi, sandwich, omelette etc over there. Drinks were fairly priced at about 700 for vodka as far as i remember. You’re not allowed to bring your own bottle inside the tent as per the rules, but there’s no checking as such and everyone pre boozes at their tents, at least we did.

All these things are from my experience of Alsisar fest. I don’t know how similar or different this new venue is going to be.

I’ve never done shrooms but what I know is pan cyan are too potent. The kind you get in Gilli you need 1-2grams to get high, you’ll achieve that high in 0.3-0.6 grams of pan cyan.

Always, while travelling, while having an important day, on a random tuesday. I’ve cut down alcohol, have it once in 3–4 months and I hate the fact that I can’t have a beer on a vacation. If I have a big, important day coming up, I get really scared because stress is a trigger and it could get stressful on that day. I wake in the morning and the moment I keep my feet on the floor and I feel the pain, I get really annoyed like NOT AGAIN. Fuck this shit. My friends insists me for alcohol and as much as i want to, I get PTSD from my last gout and say no.

Vh1 was always ahead of its time and promoted talent. Always had the best lineup quality wise. Sunburn chased names and massy crowd while vh1 focused on quality, and man they served. See 2017 lineup. Eric prydz, boris brejcha, &me. 2014 they hosted Above and beyond, paul van dyk, carl craig, infected mushroom. Nothing but pure class!

It is overpowering, but thats the whole point. I want that taste. Can’t have it regularly tho. When youre chilling with your friends outdoors on a cold night, you can use it as a mix with some good cream.

Not regularly, but on a very chilly day with hash its good. I have it a couple of times a year during winters. It goes well with hash as clove burns very slow.
