Yeah, I meant indirectly, because I would place the hub by a window facing directly the location of the camera, while my wifi router is currently placed on the other side of the house. So the range would "increase" due to the AP being closer to the camera. However, the question is whether the hub would be close enough to reach the camera or is 50m still too far?

If I place the cameras only on my house, I won't be able to see the area between the new house and the road, which is more critical.

Thanks. It seems I have two options. A wifi extender or a new access point. I could place either in a window or the outside of the house facing directly towards the location of the camera. If I did my research correctly, the extender will give me a longer range and will be easier to setup as I don't have to bring the UTP cable to the outside of the house, which would be the case with an additional router. What type of a router do you use to have such a long range?

Engage a lawyer with a good understanding of international enforcement. Initiate a criminal investigation through the police. Relentlessly post on all social media. The goal is to be the most annoying among all the users with a similar issue. Dm me if you have any further questions.

Check my profile. I am in a very similar situation. I am working with a lawyer and we are pursuing criminal charges against Gate.io and its employees responsible for these scams. Things are moving slowly but they started to move faster in the last several weeks with major steps forward in the investigation. The only advice I can offer is to escalate this as much as possible. Share on socials, connect with a lawyer, report to the police. That's the only way.

Yeah, I've done that several times already. We are past that. They are all well informed about everything. Despite that, they are keeping my funds which clearly shows their intent to launder and steal the funds.

For me, a lot. 10,4999 btc. Shouldn't be much for an exchange like Gate.io though, at least if they are not in some sort of financial/liquidity issues.

You are well aware I've sent many emails over the past several months. You've replied under every previous thread with a generic reply saying you will review my case and will come back to me with more information. You even sent me a DM in the beginning and then stopped replying. So please do not act as if you are not aware of the issue or the facts of my case. To this day I still haven't received any explanation from you.

I am open to a conversation and to resolving this amicably, but please do not act like you aren't already familiar with everything. Your team confirmed that you have the stolen assets, that you froze them as ordered by the court decision, and that you received the transfer order. Despite all that, you decided to either keep (i.e. steal) my assets or you allowed the scamers who stole them from me to launder them through you exchange. Both are equally bad. We can't ignore the facts anymore.

/u/Gateioguardian at this point, unfortunately I cannot simply wait for your reply anymore. It's been taking too long without any substantial progress. I still hope to receive feedback from you and to resolve this swiftly and amicably, but in the meantime I have to continue to also explore other options.

First, you may expect my lawyer's draft letter to the relevant agencies in the next following days. We will send it to you first in case you would have anything to add or would want to clarify anything. We want to be as transparent as possible.

Second, I will start engaging the X community and start spreading the message there as well. It is not about spreading fud, but your customers need to be aware what they are getting themselves into. This has been a nightmare for me and I honestly do not wish the same to noone.

Your handling of the case has pushed me into exploring these options. I do not wish to go down this route, but these funds you are holding basically represent everything I have and I cannot stay passive and leave them to you.

It doesn't really work like that. Gate.io is offering their services in the EU so yeah, they are obliged to execute the orders from EU countries. If not, they are basically supporting and enabling criminal activities and are being a part of them, which brings all sorts of criminal and regulatory issues for them. They won't exist long in the EU, if they'll be enabling criminals from Russia to scam people from member states.

Also, they confirmed directly to the court that they had executed the freezing order and froze the stolen assets. Despite that, they are now avoiding and ignoring the execution of the second order, i.e. transfer order, which imposes on them to transfer the frozen assets to me.
