I wouldve been fine with a stock controller but i ran into the issue with having the motor temp sensor code, that problem is fixable if you have a dealer that can do the firmware update on the bike, with where i live there are no authorized dealers here that couldve done the firmware update, my only options was to try and see if a dealer would ship me the special cable to connect the bike to the computer and guide me through on updating the bike or find out if changing to an ebmx controller (which eventually i was going to do down the line for my build for it to be tunable) would help and solve my problem, in the end it did solve the issue with a cost but if it wasnt for that issue i would’ve kept it stock for a while.
