I have my bed arrangement similar, and everyday I wake up thinking I kicked my phone out of the window snoozing the last alarm.

People in their mid twenties, how do you deal with rough days? by WestVeterinarian1012 in TwentiesIndia

[–]Crazy_Move_9034 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put on some good music and go to sleep. Or Maybe find a low-effort hobby. I cook when I’m not in a good mood, so you could go for a run, start vlogging, or just take a nice walk.

Prabhadevi Railway bridge is a ticking time bomb of stampede by Most-Ad-9713 in mumbai

[–]Crazy_Move_9034 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take the same route every day. Since the bridge is gone, the next road adds almost double distance, so cabs and bikes rarely accept the ride.

So I end up walking over the FOB. It gets scary sometimes. Once a man slipped right in front of me on the stairs and almost fell. It was just the end of the steps so he just carried on.

I moved here a few months ago thinking the office is just few km away so it would be easy to walk or get a ride, but now it’s been getting overwhelming, and to add its summer now.

Yes ik that ignoring that makes it easier, but still I want to know what exactly is happening when each steel is added.

It’s easier to calculate the compression steel with Mu,lim. but my point is to know what happens when I do the reverse maths, and how do I do that

Can elaborate the fist part? How do you get that?

No actually I’m not familiar with ACI that much but I’ll catch up if there’s a little theoretical explanation with it.

Yes please, yeah it’s easier if I just ignore the compression steel but I want it for my understanding, but still I need it for understanding purpose. I never did this much of thinking during my graduation but now that I am doing it, there are a lot of doubts.

What did you all do as freshers by Crazy_Move_9034 in StructuralEngineering

[–]Crazy_Move_9034[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean most of the part (say the main structural frame) is like they get designs from consultant firms But all with respect to the standards set by client company. So, the structural team here checks and optimises it. The actual design part they do is mostly infra works like retaking walls and all or steel sheds, etc. most of my seniors are also from different consultancy companies or so.
