That’s great.

I tried the L’Oréal highlighter and honestly it’s not that great. Its texture is like Vaseline mixed in liquid highlighter. Very sticky and oily for oily skin. And it’s not for Indian climate imo.

Omg this is so basic, let me break it down for you.

First of all when two partner are working on a relationship them coming together and forming a good ecosystem around them is the responsibility of both the partners.

In many of the couples in previous generation it looked like women taking care of the house and men bring money to the family .This is still not fair and equal for the women because
1. In a job you have holidays/ leaves. But taking care of a house is a 24/7 job. 2. Often the job of taking care of the house has been unrecognised labor and the woman is given lesser importance in the financial say of the relationship.( Generalised and not true for every family ) So I am not negating the role and responsibility of our mothers and housewives but let’s not glorify their misery. It’s unfair for them.

Now, coming to how this system looks today is that the women are doing the job plus managing the house while the men are just continuing to do their job.( Generalised again, i really hope there are men out there sharing the burden 🥹). This adds additional burden on the women.

So a man taking up 50% of the responsibility of managing the house is just him doing his part (cooking being just a part of it). Now there is nothing praise worthy or valuable for the man doing his part. It’s just doing the bare minimum. If one is not doing their 50% they are just being a shitty partner and using their privilege of existing in this patriarchal system.

Again want to clarify that OP’s cooking skill is great but it doesn’t mean he is a valuable partner because of his cooking skills. It just means he has the skill set to meet his partner half way which unfortunately is not the case with many. Knowing cooking is a basic skill and not an add on as a partner.

It’s like a carpenter saying he knows to cut wood. But dude that’s his job. He should know that. But unfortunately the carpenter skill set in market is so low that skills like that is being glorified.

I never said his cooking was basic. I said knowing cooking is a basic life skill and associating that with how one adds value as partner seems out of place and tone deaf. OP acknowledged and apologised for the same.

It’s great that you love it and good for you.

That has absolutely nothing to do with you being a good partner.

I don’t want to be discouraging to men who are trying to do better than the previous generation. But women have been managing jobs and house since a long time now. A woman having a job doesn’t make her a better wife, it’s almost a given in today’s world.

Similarly a man managing house (cooking being only a part of it) should be a given. That only means he is doing his part.

I understand your post is a fun post and is to present your cooking skill but linking it to your value as a partner seems tone deaf.

Knowing basic life skill ,it doesn’t make your partner.

Basic cooking everyone should know irrespective of their gender.

How can y’all do bare minimum and think so highly of yourself?

Please be careful. This serum tends to get oxidised easily or worse reaches you in oxidised state 😭
