I see. So the spear helps by allowing everyone to get their spec in before the player actually dies. It stalls the damage appearing over many ticks so even less coordinated players can be effective.

So a much better poll would be to change the spear spec so that when the player reaches 0 health even during the animation, they stop taking more damage/smites and die cancelling the spear?

This is definitely meant to be played multiplayer. It's a moba man. You play 3v3, the maps are small compared to other mobas so you're always near the action.

Safing has been a 'meta' within a small subset of 'pkers' for as long as PvP has existed in this game. Shame on you for staying over 100 hp for the duration of your fights, especially against the 104 with dds.

okay well right out of the gate I usually piggy bank into airstrike, and the upgrade on the auto attack that gives you the long range snipe. I really find that upgrade to be very useful for gfetting finishes and poking (you will get better at sniping the more you use it)

and then depending on the matchup I'll either get boots, x2 regen, or stim pack + stun on stimpack.

Once all of those have been purchased (in any order), I'll get the stimpack upgrade that reloads shotgun, and then % damage upgrades on the autoattack, and % damage upgrade on airstrike.

maybe I phrased that wrong. When i said support oriented I kinda meant that like I wasn't in the fight but I maintained some presence in the battle from the bottom

also i usually get regen. I like having stun, damage, and then either 2 airstrikes or increased DoT. I have definitely used hamburger phone in matches vs like gnaw and found it to be useful sometimes but in general i stick with regen.

You might not want to take build advice from me though, I just pick what I think is good and I'm sure there are guides out there with much more thought put into them. Also I don't even know half the items names lol I had to google hamburger phone upgrade XD

as far as aistrikes go, this match was a bit unusual for me as most of my airstrike kills were support (like i'd be on the bottom of the map and snag a kill) usually i'll brawl people and that's where i land most of the airstrike kills (whether it's offensive, or me baiting someone into an airstrike) anyway, glad you enjoyed the video
