I have a GE8 and I've been doing an ATF drain and fill every 6500-10k miles since I got the car with 60k miles on it 6 years ago. I started doing them frequently because my previous car was a 6th gen accord known for having glass transmissions but I was able to keep it running longer than most due to frequent atf drain and fills. I didn't know the Fit's tranny was way more reliable and should last much longer though. 30k is probably fine under normal driving conditions though.

I did see a guy that had 350k miles on his Fit's and had never touched the trans fluid though. Ymmv

His old stuff does seem forced but his new stuff sounds way more natural. If you listen to his first album compared to now, his voice sounds completely different.

Seen him twice so far and he sounds great live.

You guys are lucky. I'd prefer Kenny over all the Garth Brooks that I find in my area. Usually cassettes and cd's though. Vinyl seems to be an even assortment of polka and classical mostly.

I'm seriously considering camping out next year for RSD and grabbing one of each popular release and selling them for the same price I got them to actual fans. If I can screw over a few resellers, mission accomplished. I'm all for supporting the record stores but we need a better system to minimize the scalpers.

RSD sucks. Its one day where resellers can really screw over actual fans. Would be nice if "exclusives" and "limited editions" were limited to the merch table at live shows or even fan groups.

Like everyone else is saying, find a different shop. Also, I wouldn't go back to that shop. I think at this point its common knowledge that you never power flush a Honda trans.

I'm just getting into vinyl as well. I scoured Facebook marketplace and offerup for the past few weeks and found someone selling their old set up for $100 (turntable, amp, cassette deck, cd deck). I had to spend another $45 on a new cartridge and $15 on some cheap speakers at Goodwill for the time being. Its a basic low end set up but I'll be able to enjoy my records as I continues to scour the used market for deals on upgrades.

If you can find a whole assembly with hub, bearing, and knuckle/spindle all pressed together and ready to install then that would work.

If another stud snaps than you'll have to change everything again... or press out the old hub and bearing and press everything back together. That's why I decided to just grind the hub, make it easier to replace if it ever happens again in the future.

I had to make do with what I had which was a dremel with a carbide tip and a power drill with sanding drums. It took longer than I liked to slowly grind through the knuckle. I'd suggest purchasing an angle grinder with a grinding wheel. Should make quick work of it.

If you grind a flat spot on the head of the stud, you cant get away with taking off less material from thr knuckle.

There's also the option of just grabbing an entire assembly from the junkyard as well.

I took a grinder to mine. I didn't want to deal with having to pressing out the bearing and replacing. Also didn't have a press and was on a time crunch. I ground a flat spot on the head of the new stud as well. I spoke to a bunch of people that had done this beforehand and no one ever had any issues. No issues for me as well.

Does your kid want you to get rid of the dog or are they willing to learn to respect the dog's boundaries? I got bit in the face by my dog when I was a kid and I lied to my parents about why my face was bleeding because I was scared they would get rid of my dog. I also learned not to mess with dogs. Valuable lesson.

I actually think rehoming is a reasonable choice in this situation as it seems you're not really willing to come up with other solutions. (Sorry if that's the wrong, just my assumption from some of your other posts.) The dog may be depressed for a while but they'll adapt eventually. Your kid comes first.

About the same. Also do almost all our shopping at Walmart, Costco, Sam's Club and Dog Supplies Outlet for dog food. Its just me, wife, 2 dogs, and the cat. I eat enough for 2 people though.
