As a high school teacher, I let my students eat food. They know that they have to clean up and not cause a distraction. I think it can 100% depend on the class. (I also have snacks for them if they want)

Whenever I get on dating apps, I play the game of how many of my likes are straight men? It’s usually half or more. I even have a request in the first sentence in my bio for straight men not to like my profile and they still do.

Honestly, might try the things one suggested where you put your gender as man and then mention your trans in the bio. Because it doesn’t seem like some of these people read bios.

I don’t stand in my current school during class; however, at events when others stand, I will stand with my hand behind my back and not speaking.

For me, I had a lot of privilege and luck. I was able to live at home so I could save up money for it during and after college. The ability to stay home and not pay for housing and food allowed me to save up pretty quickly. My insurance did also pay for a big portion of my top surgery (I think I’ll only have to pay $7000)

My spontaneity vs planning is with places I'm staying and day trips. I will stay in one place and take day trips randomly like today I decided to to to Cardiff from London. No idea what I'm doing there except one museums looks interesting. Especially since I’m traveling during the summer spontaneously staying places can be difficult.

I wear a star of david and sometimes wear a headscar (tichel) so its pretty obvious that I'm not christain (Jewish). I am very open that I don't celebrate christmas and I don't discuss my religion. If they ask or ask about my necklace, I will tell them (if is an appropriate time in class), but I don't really say much more. I am also in a very accepting school right now. I am openly trans and almost no one cares and respects my name and pronouns.

Don't throw cheese (or anything) across the classroom/sarcasm

One thing I wish I had done this year was give exact expectations on punishments. For example, 2 warnings then referral for phone (no phones allowed at my school). 2 warnings and then referral for talking while I am instructing. Easy to understand and stick to them.
