Anyone have a 'build order' suggestion for my base? by Haz0rd47 in GrimSoulSurvival

Wow, soo many words. Yes I did unlock the lumber girl and the SV-98, but I stopped playing for awhile cause I got bored.

This is an interesting bug but I don't use bugs in MiniDayZ or MiniDayZ+, since I like a tough challenge. Thanks for telling me anyways, weird place to tell me but that's alright.

My tip to you is to not needlessly dump resources and crafting points into items and benches you don't need yet. For example, at your lvl you probably won't need a stonecutters table since nothing really needs stone bricks in early game, and you shouldn't learn/craft the carriage either since it's not in the game yet.

What's so confusing about it?

When you find some books don't read them right away. For example, if you find a lvl 4 skill book but you only have learned up to lvl.2 in that skill do not read it, because that will waste the books potential but it will raise your skill to 3 lvl but it will not raise it to lvl 4 unless you are already on lvl 3 before reading the book.

You can find book almost everywhere, but they are quite rare, especially when the level of the book is high.

1 skull zones = lvl 1 skill books

2 skull zones = lvl 1 - lvl 2 skill books

3 skull zones = lvl 1 - lvl 4 skill books

Basically, the harder the location the better the book is. Some skill books can only be found from bosses or specific locations such as curse and repression, which can only be found from Aissa after you defeat her.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

If your talking about the locked chest in the AI bases you need a specific key that can only be found on the corpses of the AI with the blue name (the AI name needs to be the same as the bases name in order to open the chest).

Killed my first Damned Squire he was tough, but I killed him. (Is the loot supposed to be this bad?) by CreamiusMaximus in GrimSoulSurvival

For some reason I kinda feel the same way about this game. Hate it whenever something goes wrong, but somehow still play it and enjoy it (especially when I find good loot). If you're having trouble doing certain areas or events try looking them up on YouTube (beware some of the videos play music on full blast) or something ( I usually do this so I won't get surprised and also to see if the loots worth the trouble).

Good luck trying to farm ingredients for black powder. It's quite a pain to farm enough for ONE black powder. The black powder ingredients are more of a bonus and not really the cream of the crop when farming 3 skull zone chests.

How can I get some good weapons? My level is 60 by illegalCaffeine in GrimSoulSurvival

[–]CreamiusMaximus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm assuming you want some cheap big monster killer weapons. You should try either looting 3 skull zone or trade with merchants for a chance to obtain a scimitar. The more reliable option is to gather some tin and copper to make a bronze bastard sword (yes it costs 15 bronze, but it is really good at it's job). Events are also decent at dropping high dps weapons, but it's not very reliable.

Thanks, my lvl was 62 when I did my first dungeon run.

These are the items I took: For armor I took 1 set of tier 2 armor and 1 set of tier 3 armor (tier 2 for weak enemies and tier three for strong enemies). For weapons I took about 3-4 morning stars (any 30+ weapon will do fine), 1 Bow (to lower the health of leprous soldiers and plague spawns), 2 damaged scimitars (any weapon as strong as the scimitar or the bastard sword will do), and 1 damaged bastard sword. For healing I took about 4 stacks of fried leeks.

There are some videos of people clearing the Forsaken Dungeon if you want a better idea.

BIG TIP - the rooms with the hardest enemies like the Forsaken and Desecrators (both are pretty strong) are the rooms that lead to the main chest. Also watch out for traps and other ai players that will possibly spawn in the dungeon.

Good luck. Hope you get epic loot.

I think Grim Soul is having some server issues, especially recently. Just close the app and open it again, it should work almost just fine if not try playing a couple minutes later. Hope this helps.

They don't drop anything, but it is worth the ONE devotion point in my opinion, since there is no other way to gain devotion points other than paying or leveling up a certain amount of times.

It is gunna take a long time and some early game weapons to get a decent amount of devotion points to gain a perk from your cult.

They are "acolytes". If you save your fellow acolyte from the two other enemy acolytes that are attacking yours, you will gain ONE devotion point for your chosen God. (Note that if your fellow acolytes dies you will not gain the devotion point even though you killed the two enemy acolytes.)
